The prestigious international Grand Turismo–category Hard Rock Hotel sought a large-scale expansion to significantly increase the number of suites within its successful development. The project consisted of a ten-story tower featuring 158 suites with stunning ocean views and a new, iconic pool area, as well as a large beachfront wedding gazebo and new bar and restaurant areas.
Construction began with the building’s foundation, but work was halted due to the pandemic. Years later, the project resumed and was transformed into Único, becoming an independent development separate from Hard Rock, while still taking advantage of the previously planned structural groundwork.
