After being affected by Hurricane Wilma, the five-star Sun Palace hotel underwent an extensive renovation in which its 250 rooms, lobby, pool areas, entrances, spas, and all other common areas were restored and modernized. Special emphasis was placed on the use of high-quality window systems to provide maximum protection against future meteorological events.
